Today we’ll talk about BRANDING because this is what will help you accomplish that.
First of all, what is a Brand?
The Brand is the soul and the personality of your business, it’s not just the logo, colors or the font.
Your Brand should represent your personal values as the CEO of your company, what you stand for, what you believe in, your own process/ frameworks on how you help your customers, your personal stories and your personality type, and then link all of it to your offer/ what you are selling.
The goal of having a brand is to help you stand out in the crowd, and be seen as the authority in your marketplace.
The following exercise will help you get started and get more clarity on yours:
How do you want to be seen as a brand online? Brainstorm words that align with your personality and values.
Ex. trustworthy, authentic, unique, fun, honest, knowledgeable, dependable, resourceful, reliable, valuable, minimal, consistent, fun, unique, independent, impactful, etc.
Narrow them down to 5 words that describe your brand.
What are the top 5 emotions you want people to feel when they see your brand online?
Ex. empowered, compelled, connected, confident, inspired, relatable, excited, joyful, etc.
Fill the blank in the following sentence.
I want people to ____________ when they come to my business profile online.
( for me the word I put here is “ connected”)
Now, look at your direct and indirect competitors and how their brand is represented online.
There is so much to branding and this is just scratching the surface but it’s a good start for some of you.
Other elements to include when working on your brand are:
Example: if you are helping first time home-buyers buy their dream home, the process from taking this home-buyer who knows nothing about purchasing a home to actually getting into their dream home will be your own proprietary homework.

I’ll stop here because the goal for me was to change the way you might currently be thinking about your brand, and that in order to actually stand out, a brand is not just about the logo or the colors, but it has to have a soul.
